Wisconsin Sikh Shooting Photos

Another shooting shock the country as a gun man killed several people and wounding several others in a shooting incident that happened in Oak Creek Wisconsin. The shooting happened in the Sikh temple, the police said on its report. Some of the injured in the shooting was taken in the Froederdt Hospital in Milwaukee.

The attacker “ambushed” a policeman at the scene, shooting him multiple times, before a second officer returned fire, killing the gunman, the police ruled it out as domestic-type terrorist incident,”

Four people were found dead inside the temple, while three, including the suspected shooter, were found dead outside, there is only one gunman believed to have created havoc in the community.

The FBI already handled the incident and investigations are being implemented.

About the Wisconsin Sikh Temple

The Sikh Temple of WI was established on October 1, 1997. It started with 20-25 families and the Sangat gathered in the rental community halls in the south side of Milwaukee. In October 1999 Sikh Temple of WI was formally established in the 441 E Lincoln Ave, Milwaukee location. At this time there are 350-400 people in the congregation. The hall and parking lot have outgrown the needs of the Sangat and a new Gurudwara is being built in Oakcreek to better serve the needs of the growing community.
