New Zealand 7.0 Earthquake Details

A magnitude 7.0 earthquake has been felt across the lower half of the North Island, it is from Bay of Plenty to Canterbury by a 7.0-magnitude earthquake, which hit off the coast of the lower North Island. The quake was centred out to sea at a depth of 230 km the earthquake hit around 10:36 pm on Tuesday, according to GNS

So far there are no reported injuries only damages in the infrastructures, but no major damages in building and homes.

TGhe quake has not created a tsunami threat, according to the Wellington Region Emergency Management Office, some people were reported to have evacuated to higher ground on the Horowhenua coast.
